Question:

Accepted attire for breakfast at The Wolseley, Piccadilly?

I'm not normally a breakfast person. However, I have to be up early in the morning and feel like seeing what the fuss is about with Breakfast at The Wolseley on Piccadilly.

To what extent of "casual" could I comfortably get away with at 10am?

  1. I have eaten at The Wolseley many times, both luncheon and dinner.  It is a wonderful building - but it is not at all pompous.  Given its location, and the number of tourists who wander in off the street, they could not afford to be !

Whenever I am in Town it is for a meeting, so I tend to be suited, however, there are always plenty of other diners wearing smart casual clothing.  I would never go to a decent restuarant in jeans or any form of sportswear - but as long as you are clean and smart you will be fine.
