Me and my boyfriend met online. He lives in the USA and I live in the UK, we have known each other for about 3 years. We become official 6 months ago, we have met once in person for 3 weeks. We decided to apply for a fiance visa for him to come to me in the U.K. We have the plane tickets from when we met, and we have a ton of pictures together and emails, we spend most of our time talking on skype which we cant really proove, but we do have emails and stuff we have sent to each other as gifts and a couple other things to proov we have been together for a while. Do you think this will be enough to be accepted for a fiance visa or would the little time we've spent together in person be a problem in getting accepted?

  2. In terms of how long you've spent together, the only requirement is that you have met in person within the last 2 years.

Come the visa interview, you may be asked questions and for evidence to prove the legitimacy of your relationship, but there again you may not.

I went through the US Embassy in London for my K1 visa interview, and I was only asked if I knew my fiancé's date of birth, if I had met her parents, and if she had met mine. Your mileage may vary though.
