Question:

Accepting more than one university offer?

Here's the situation: I've applied to four universities in Ontario, Canada through the OUAC website.

I have recently received an offer of admission that I have to respond to by the first of May from one of them. Another university said that I will be receiving an offer of admission either on April 21st or May 13th. As for the other 2, I still haven't received anything from them regarding my applications.

Am I allowed to accept more than one offer of admission from ONTARIO UNIVERSITIES? I'm afraid that if I wait for the others, I would miss my chance in this university and perhaps all of them. =S

  1. Universities typically set a date before which you are able to withdraw from a course without cost.  So you should be able to accept your first offer and still have the flexibility to withdraw from it if one of your other choices works out.

But I've never been to Canada, so I suggest you ask the university for this date first just to be sure.
