Accessing iTunes store always gets refused even though I'm connected!?

Question

every time i keep trying to access the itunes music store, it can never establish a secure connection even though i can easily go to any website (that also includes apple.com) i ran the itunes diagnostics and it said that it "could not establish a secure connection to the itunes store".

Also i am using iTunes 7.7 (the latest one)

Windows XP SP2 (about to go SP3)

And a wireless connection (because I can't get a corded connection)

I also have looked everywhere else on the net, and no one has found the answer - and apple's steps didn't help a bit!

COULD SOMEONE HELP ME PLEASE!!!
