for THE BEST, make sure you have a 1080p HDTV, and a HDMI cable to connect it,

then deck out ur shiny tv with the playstation eye, you know that little camera for ps3 thingy, great for video chatting with friends and it even has a free video editor off of the ps store. It can be used with a few games like burnout paradise

and the ps3 steering wheel by NYKO if ur into racing games any ps2 one will work

now to complete the experience, you need a 7.1 surround sound systems (yamaha makes the best) and awesome speakers, bose *cough* *cough*

A ps2 memory card adapter for those old ps2 classics,

U also gatta get 4 of the new dualshock 3 controllers with a controller charger by NYKO.

The psp really goes along with the ps3 system, with amazing compatiblity and now that you can transfer music videos and pic to and from the psp and ps3. plus remote play...

a bluetooth headset is the most useful thing you can get for any online game, these aren't made by sony, but you can get them at any old best buy or radio shack.

oh and lot's of good games, might I advise rock band?

some other sweet ones are resistance, metal gear solid, warhawk, motorstorm, skate, gta4, cod4, the list is endless,

Blue tooth (talk online), Dual shock 3 (has rumble feature),The steering wheel (i forgot the name), PlayStation eye ( it's like a computer webcam but this one is a ps3 webam ur friends can see u in chat room and if ur friends have the same thing u can see them)

Sell your PS3 and buy an Xbox 360. They are much better, have more extras and are cheaper!
