Hiya

During skiing there was an ice patch

and i did the spits, or splats

like when your legs are left and right

well i went all the way down.

It doesnt hurt anymore..

Will i increase my chance of injuryies?

Can i go the splits/splats easier now?

  1. haha oh wow! no going all the way down will not make it any easier for you to do it again unless you could already do it prior to the "accident" in order to do the splits you need to stretch your thighs and legs out and do it over time if you've never been able to do it before! so if you would like to be able to do it again then i would stretch out over a period of a week or two and do it slowly until you can go all the way!

  2. It will make you less vulnerable to injury.

  3. ???

  4. you could have puled something making it sore and somewhat more proned to injury

  5. After healing if the groin muscles aren't used to stretching that far, they may be re-injured more easily considering they were injured and then healed again. As for doing the splits, the best way to accomplish that is to gradually work down, a sudden jolt forcing the muscles to stretch farther than they are ready for could have caused damage. I would not recomend the splits.
