i hav to write an article on "ACCIDENTAL DISCOVERIES OF SCIENCE" m in a mess frm where to start? please suggest something.

(which is what Archimedes exclaimed when he discovered volume and water displacement)

You can start off with Isaac Newton, the Laws of Gravity...  he got hit on the head, "accidentally", by an apple, thus, him discovering gravity.  Lol.

most discoveries are accidental starting from discovery of gravity by einstien to radio active rays. alchemist in process of tring to convert anything into gold discovered many  new elements and compounds.
