  1. I've been there.  I got four miles before the bike quit.  I siphoned off the tank and re-filled with regular gas.  The bike smoked for a couple days, but diesel is just oil, after all.

There is a bolt at the bottom of the carb float bowl, remove that to drain the carb.

  2. no you dont need a new carb just clean everything with sum carb cleaner and fill it with premium gas, its gonna smoke like h**l for the first few miles, but itll burn off

  3. that want hurt anything if it was the other way around you would have a mess but diesel in a gas engine it is just well over oiled, drain the carb bowl and the tank put in fresh gas and it would not hurt to pull the spark plug just to make sure it does not need cleaning from the heavy oil in the diesel, looks good she should start up no problem

  4. drain tank and fuel line ,carburetor probably has drain s***w on bottom of float bowl ,replace plug and dont tell your freinds what you did or youll wind up with the nick name diesel, does not hurt engine just pride when this happens and your not at all the first

  5. All you need to do is syphon out as much of the diesel as you can and pull the fuel lines and empty out the gas in the lines.  Then just fill it up with regular fuel.  It may run a little rough until all the diesel is burned but dont worry... you're engine will not be damaged... it just takes higher heat to burn off diesel which is what causes the roughness.

  6. I don't see why you would need a new carb. Maybe you fouled a spark plug.

Look for a fuel line from the tank. Remove it and drain the fuel.

Be prepared to dispose of it properly at an oil change place or service station that will take it.

After that put a 1/4 tank in and it might run rough. Then should be ok.

  7. You didn't hurt anything.

You need to drain as much of the diesel fuel as possible, then refill with the correct fuel.

You may have to drain all of the fuel lines and the carb bowls (if it's not fuel injected) too.

It's going to run like c**p and smoke like a banshee for awhile, but it will run.  After a tank or two of fresh fuel, it will run like it always did.

You may have to change the spark plug(s) once or twice also.

  8. Drain the tank.  Disassemble the carb and drain it as much as possible.  Fill it with gas and try to start it.  The spark plug may be fouled also.

  9. Drain the fuel tank. Then flush the entire system with clean gas. Then clean your carburetor(s) with clean gas and assemble. Then try to start (may take a few attempts).

  10. Siphon it out or drain on the ground. Then wash your tank with gasoline. Fill it up with fresh gas. Should be alright.  You'll want to drain the carbs, too, and use prime to refill the carbs.
