  1. I don't think it would be considered rude to ask for something that you accidently included in the things that you were giving away.... .. It isn't like you changed your mind .. it WAS AN ACCIDENT :)

You could explain the situation and hope that the people understand... AND that the item is still there...

if they don't agree to return it to you ... you may have to buy it back ( just consider it a monetary donation)...

And you could also donate something else in it's place as a show of goodwill ....

people are a little mean to say you'd be wrong to ask for it back

  2. I used to work for Goodwill. So I know that as soon as they

bring the donations into the back, they sort, and price and

toss, according to their re sale value. They have a weekly

store amount that they have to meet, or the manager will lose

his job ( I was told that, by one). So they will mark up some-

thing now to make more money for their weekly goal. And it

is put out on the floor the same day for sale. My guess is

that the toys are long gone by now. As the toy sections are

the more popular. Kids are allowed to play in those aisles

and often they find just what they want. Especially if they've

seen it on TV. So parents are inclined to buy it at a discount

there, if it's in new shape. I think you'll have to live with the

fact, everything is gone, unless you want to do a search for

yourself and buy it back. Sorry to bring you bad news.

  3. probably not, at least not without looking like a jerk. whatever it was, it was just a toy. and i doubt it was some kind of valuable collectible, it can be replaced. it's going to someone who needs it more than you do, you did a very nice thing. :o)

  4. its plain rude to demand something back after you've give it to someone (even CHARITY)

just be patient and buy another one

  5. go there and try u migth beable too if u go early enouf.

  6. go to goodwill or call them say there was a mistake and that you need something back they will understand

  7. offer to buy it back if you can find it.  Otherwise, I know it sucks, but take pride in the fact that someone else will enjoy it.

  8. i dont think you can get it back

  9. You could certainly BUY it back....

  10. You may try however the chances are slim that you get it back since the workers may have already claimed it or it has already been sold.

  11. Yes you can get it back
