Accidentally downloaded Trojan horse ZAK

Question

I went to download micromedia flash player. Ended up getting a number of malware infections. AntiVirus 2008 and a Trojan horse Agent.ZAK. I've used Spyware Doctor w/ AntiVirus in safe mode as well as a number of other antivirus scanners. Could anyone help me in removing this thing?

Firstly, antivirus programs will NOT pick these up as they are malicious codecs.Download the following free removal programs:

Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Removes Antivirus 2008/2009/XPAntivirus and many more:

Download, install, update and select Quick Scan.

Remove all infections that it finds after scan.

Spybot S&D:

Download, install, update and Immunize, then click 'Check for problems' then when complete select all and then 'Fix Checked'
