Accidentally sent my ipod through the washing machine!!!?

Does anyone know what the return policy is. Its a little over a year old.I figure i'm just screwed but thought i'd ask?

well if you paid an extra 30$ like i did and kept it in a safe place:] your fine otherwise id say go with the shuffle its only 50 bucks and its better than nothing ------> the truth<-----   BEST ANSWER?

Take the ipod and put in a sunny place so it will be heated by the sun gradually. Give it a couple of days to dry out the insides. Try to put it on charge after a few days, and then try it again. Solid state electronics are a LITTLE forgiving, but the LCD display could be beyond a dry out period. Good luck
