Accommodation in Fiumicino in the west of Rome?

The international airport is located in Fiumicino near Rome. And it's near another nice place, Ostia Antica.

The problem is you can't find the accommodation situation of Fiumicino through the internet because the Fiumicino is just like a town.

Could you help me? Many thanks!

  1. Here's a site with a listing of hotels/

We've stayed at the Riveria twice and it was pretty good.  A touch pricey, but a good location near the ocean and protected private parking.

Friends found a Hotel in Ostea Antica for 75 Euro per night.  A little further but still a quick shot to the Airport.  All I remember about it was it was above (or next to) a MacDonalds.

If you can be 40 minutes up the coast we like Santa Marinella - Hotel L'isola.  Here's a web site.  You want room 103 or 104 each of which has a balcony overlooking the sea.  No beach right near the hotel, but a good beach a half mile away.

Traffic to the airport has never been a problem from here and you're only adding 20 minutes to your trip.
