Question:

Accommodation in Perth Southwest Region?

I’m planning my trip in August, which is during the low season.

My budget for per night stay is about AU$100-$150.

Any recommendation?

Do I need to book before I travel?

Will it be easy to find an accommodation along the way?

  1. On your budget you will find good accommodation options. At this time of year you will not need to book ahead and may find "special" rates available, it will be easy to find accommodation along the way. The Southwest Region is a large area with many towns and attractions with many miles in between, it would be difficult to make recommendations not knowing which town you plan to stay or if you are travelling around, however you should have no problems.

  2. Thats a good budget to work off, you will find many options ranging from self contained apartments to hotel rooms/chalets, etc.

I would recommend staying in Dunsborough/Yallingup/Margaret River.

I dont think you will have any trouble finding accomodation, but its much easier to book online as you can then get a pretty good idea of the place/read reviews and then you know you are safe just incase you miss out.
