Accommodation on the Gold Coast?

Question

Can anyone suggest accommodation on the Gold Coast, I'm looking for a hotel or apartments, as close to Cavil Ave as possible, definitly within 400metres. On the beach would be nice but not compulsary. Minimum 3 stars. Price range $100-$200 a night (for off peak June stay).

Some suggestions or even just names of well located hotels would be great.

imperial surf is right at the beach only a minute or 2 walk to cavil there really is a huge amount of places all along the esplanade and around Cavil The competition is good for prices and you can pick up a good deal from wotif.com.au heres another place slightly closer http://www.chateaubeachside.com.au/

My son recently stayed there in a block of units - "Blue Oasis". It is 5 minute walk to Cavil Ave. Enjoy your stay.
