  1. Zef, that is an awesome link!

You might want to talk to your travel agent about what hotel options you have available to you.  Also, sites like Travelocity & Hotels.com have landmark options and usually list the cruise terminals as a landmark so you can see what the rates are of hotels and how far they are from your port.

  2. Well, I'm going to guess that you are looking for hotels near the port of departure.  If not, I have no idea what you are asking.

If you are looking for place to stay before or after your cruise, then check out the following link ...

  3. Thanks, Astral and Zef for the links!

TripAdvisor.com is good for reviews of hotels by past guests.  Also CruiseCritic.com, "Boards" has info on hotels in departure ports [the board is "East Coast Departures" etc, I think].

  4. OK, despite the temptation I'm not going to rant about this vague question.

Let me just say that cruise lines stop in a lot of places. And, it really, really depends on where it is as to what you should do.

I'd suggest that you look at the cruise critic "roll call" board for your trip. See what others are doing. If no one seems to be doing anything you like, then post on the board. Someone will answer.

  5. Go to: http://www.greatports.com/web/gp/north_a...

Here are 26 domestic cruise shp port listings and a great resource for you. Lots of information.

  6. There are hotels near cruise departure ports. You would be able to get better recommendations if you told us which port you were leaving from.
