  1. Last year I stay in Gravina H -10. Is a small  3 stars hotel very close to Plaza Cataluña in a quiet street. I pay near 180 euros for two interconnecting rooms looking the back of the building (the quiet side). The hotel is good choice for the price and I will go again I my next travel to Barcelona (I hope). Remember to take the rooms with the interconnection door, they are greater and better than a some overlooking a small court yard.

From the hotel you can walk easily to Plaza Cataluña, la Rambla Paseo the Gracia and the barrio gotico. In one of the corners of the plaza is The Corte Ingles store and the Blue and Red touristic buses terminal, this buses are good choice to visit the principal attractions like La Sagrada Familia, Parque Guell, Casa Mila, La Pedrera,  Montduic, the Olympic city, etc.

If you want a little adventure take the cremayera train up to el Tibidabo a beautiful historic amusement park with the best view to the city.

    I love Barcelona.

  2. You can find some good basic accomodation in Barcelona, but the majority of places under 33 EUR per night are "hostals".

The Hotel Glòries is the only hotel in the new Glòries commercial and business area and rates from only 28 EUR - for a 3 star hotel - so it's good value. It is a few minutes from the Auditorium, the Catalonia National Theatre and very close to the Sagrada Familia cathedral and the Olympic Village and beaches.

However, you may want more attractive "touristy" areas such as Ramblas, so .....

Try this site - you can sort the prices by price and location to find what you want. Right now you can take advantage of last minute specials which also throw in free extras such as breakfast and use of facilities which make a larger budget a better deal.

    Just and idea :)

  3. Under EUR 100 for three nights means EUR 33 per night.  There are no options except hostels for that price.

  4. Under 100€ you find a lot of hotels, also 3 and 4 stars: go to see www.bancotel.com or catalonian hotels!

    Enjoy yourtryp.

  5. Most visitors stay in or near the Ramblas or in the Gothic Quarter just to the east. This is a good base from where you can explore the city's sights by day including Gaudi's masterpiece, the unfinished Sagrada Família Cathedral, and Parc Güell in the north. Or maybe visit the 98,000 seater Nou Camp stadium the home of Barcelona football club. See http://www.spain4uk.co.uk/places/barcelo... for more detailed information
