according to I Timothy 2:12. According to them, Paul also forbid them to have authority over a man. So, if Governor Palin debates Joseph Biden on TV, would they have to turn off their TVs? Would they also not be able to vote for her because they can't allow a woman to be in authority over them?

I'm half-joking but I'm half-serious.

By the way, I am a born-again Bible-believing Christian. I just disagree with the Evangelical interpretation of I Timothy 2:12.

  1. Sarah..  They were forbidden to have authority and teach in CHURCH which is who Paul's letters were mostly written too.. The Churches...

  2. It will be interesting to see if evangelical men will vote for her, since women are not to instruct or lead men, per biblical writings.  You make a valid point.

  3. how is a debate, preaching?  it is argumentative to debate, preaching is in a bubble.  She would probobly agree, that her role is not behind a pulpit discussing the Bible.  Her role is supportive to Mccain to get him elected.
