According to Jesus, what are the three parts that make a man?

Gen 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

Gen 2:7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

Genesis 1 explains God said let US create man in OUR image.

Genesis 2 shows how man is created from the dust (flesh)

God breathed life into him (spirit)

and man became a living soul (soul)

God created man above the animals more than flesh which returns to dust but with an eternal spirit

God is Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

The same as you are flesh, spirit and soul.

Each are you and all are one.

Edit the US in Genesis refers to the Father, Son and Holy Spirit which includes the Son who is Jesus.

The Son   therefore is  saying we are created in this image of God

Jesus never talked about the different aspects of the makeup of Man.

The Bible does, however, and if we were to pull together all the different scripture references concerning the basic makeup of Man, we would have a very good educational tool.  

But to sum everything up, we can say that man is triune, having a body, soul and spirit.
