  1. That isn't possible, you should challenge him on it and see what he does/says.

  2. Been sleeping in class, huh?

Sleeping and listening to college lectures don't mix - causes confusion.

On the other hand, your college lecturer might be talking about the recent case of Thomas Beatie, the so-called pregnant man. Beatie was born a woman and still has female reproductive organs (which was why he/she was able to get pregnant). S/he also had her b*****s removed and has been taking male hormones and so has the appearance of a male.

Anyway, Beatie is legally married to a woman but for some reason this woman couldn't get pregnant. So s/he used a sperm donor and got pregnant. S/he gave birth recently, I forget when but it was very recent (a month or two ago, maybe?).

You could argue that this child has 2 fathers - the sperm donor and Beatie. But in actual fact, Beatie is also the mother of this child.

If this case isn't what your teacher is referring to, then he is talking about something impossible.

  3. I'm pretty sure that's not possible. He's a quack.

  4. Well, I believe this isn't possible. Two sperm cannot enter the same egg, and, if this were possible, the chances of the sperm one from one person and one from the other is pretty low. Hmm, maybe it happened another way, I dunno, sounds like it isn't true.

  5. I really doubt it.  I've seen on those TV shows that show a pregnancy from conception to birth that once the egg is penetrated it closes itself off to any others getting into it.

  6. Doesn't sound right. References please.

  7. Ha ha.  Very funny.
