According to english grammar rules are the following correct or wrong. (3 sentences)Personal opinions welcome?

1) Why do you say them?

("them refers to "white lies")( I am thinking it should be "Why do you tell them" ) (Is the first acceptable)

2) "Help!" Shouts out the man.

( I am thinking it should be :"Shouts the man out.")(Is the first acceptable?)

3) We gave you all the extra service today, why is the tip so small.

1) "Why do you tell them?" is better if following the sentence about white lies.

2) "Help!" shouts the man.  (since you aren't actually beginning a new sentence, the s in shouts should stay in lower case)

3) "We gave you all the extra service today; why is the tip so small?"

         or

    "We gave you all the extra service today.  Why is the tip so small?"

(as there are two separate thoughts, you'd either use a semi-colon or just break them up into the two sentences)

1) Why do you say them?

Since you point out that them is "white lies", then perhaps they expect you to say "Why do you say/tell white lies?"

2) "Help!" shouts out the man.

On a general rule the subject/noun comes before the verb itself, for example: In the cinema, Angela screamed during the movie. 'Screamed' is the action [the verb], while Angela is the person who performed the action.

Therefore, the sentence should be instead: "Help!" the man shouts out. The man, being the subject, comes before the object.

3)"We gave you all the extra service today, why is the tip so small."

The only error I can see in this sentence is that there is no conjunction present as these are two ideas presented in one long sentence. A conjunction is used to link phrases, words and clauses.

Therefore the sentence could be:

We gave you all the extra service today, but why is the tip so small?

Or, you could also seperate the two ideas, which would be: "We gave you all the extra service today. Why is the tip so small?"
