  1. The earth will end in approximately  five billion years, but that has nothing to do with global warming.

The global warming people are talking about is just a gradual process, and will not kill us off, and will not end the earth.

  2. Nothing in global warming says the world is going to end.

The IPPC are talking about a 24in sea rise ~3deg temp rise and an economic effect like the great depression.

Nothing at all about the end of the world!

  3. It's unlikely that the earth will end for another five billion years or so. It's safe to assume the human race will be gone long before then, but global warming is unlikely to kill us off, although it probably will reduce our numbers due to the increased potential for famines, spreading tropical diseases, stronger storms, coastal flooding, etc.

  4. Yesterday, according to past predictions of the global warming prophets.

  5. I don't know, but if Al Gore doesn't stop riding around with a fleet of limos and SUV's he's going to speed it up!

  6. Everything has to be destroyed one day. This world also has its life and death for sure. Its living now and it will end one day. Like we, human beings have changes in us, this earth is also changing look at the weather conditions around the world. Its changing day by day and becoming warmer. I think because of man made machines.

  7. There is more chance that the term "global warming" will bore you to death than have an effect on any living creature on this planet, it is a total nonsense

  8. A temperature change of even a few degrees will kill hundreds of different species.  As ecological diversity shrinks, more species will die out.  A mass global extinction will cause entire ecosystems to collapse.

Meanwhile, melting polar ice caps will cause the oceans to rise by several feet.  Thousands of square miles of land will be lost to the rising oceans, including cities like New York and LA.

While the earth turns into a giant desert and then an ice cube in a second ice age, humans will likely die out in record numbers due to famine.  Countries will have to fight over limited resources, leading to nuclear war.  Radiation will finish off the human race.

That is one possibility, and yes I just thought that up now.

  9. probably in 100 years or less

well the world wont end, but humans will be gone

its sad that its too late to stop it.

  10. Global Warming is not a Doomsday  Prophesy  it is a wake up call.  The first thing we need to do is help make some changes in our national mind set from one that lets us believe that our earth can recover from anything, to one that lets us believe that our earth could use a little help.

Developing cleaner ways to produce electricity is not going to hurt a thing, if it doe’s nothing but make the air we breathe cleaner it works for me.

Developing  alternative fuels to power our transportation needs , again won’t hurt a thing, reduce the demand for oil you reduce the price we pay  for it, I think everyone can say “that works for me” to this.

In our everyday life one of  best ways  to help focus your mind set  in the right direction is to say to yourself each morning, “Today I will do no harm to the earth” I do this it works, I find myself doing little things that in the long run enriches my life, again it don’t hurt a thing.

I could go on about this all day but I won’t. I’m a global warming  advocate but, not because of some unfounded fear of  Doomsday but (as you may have guessed by now) because it won’t hurt a thing to help our earth recover from  years of  industrial plunder.

  11. Well some years back the science writer Isaac Asimov wrote a book called a choice of catastrophes. Global warming was the last item in the book and the one he considered less important than the one before it. The disaster more important or critical to him was a woman having a daughter instead of a son.

  12. The Bible speaks of God scorching the earth with heat because of disobedience....james the hollow earth man

  13. Not soon probibly a couple hounred or thousand years but no one knowsfor sure

  14. Dude- global warming doesnt exist. stop listening to all these go green f**s.
