  1. Puzzling is correct in both his answer of 1 and explanation

  2. 1 birthday (the day they are born).  All other celebrations are the "anniversary" of their birth day.

    Answer:

    a.1

  3. According to the American Heritage Dictionary,

    birthday has two meanings.

    1. The day someone was born.

    2. The anniversary of said day.

Collins dictionary lists the same definitions in the opposite order.

Of course, #2 is more common.

(Seen any "Happy Anniversary of your Birthday" cards lately ?)

Using that definition, choice b) 65 would be the correct one of

    those offered.

I thought life expectancy is now higher than 65, so the correct

answer should be more like 75.

For those who prefer definition #1, fine, be as pedantic as you like.

And let me know when you find one of those cards,

or someone phones you up to say

    "Happy Anniversary of your birthday".

I won't be holding my breath.

A better justification of the answer "1" would be

that only 1 day out of the year is your birthday.

    .

  4. b. 65

you live longer than 1 year...

    silly retards

  5. Puzzling got it correct. You are only born once. So a.
