Will Brian Cashman really sell off some of their players if they lose this series????

Obviously guys like giambi and arod wouldnt go, but how about someone like bobby abreu or johnny damon to a team in a pennant race. It would be a good idea to get maybe one prospect for each. Would this be a good idea if they are out of it by this weekend???

Sunday is the final trade deadline.

  1. i dont think he will contribute to another team winning...i dont see it happeningunless is good pitching. he might let go during the offseason but not after this series..They need pitching more than anything..at the end of this season, bobby abreu,Damon, matsui or even giambi could be goneTeven if they're not that many good lefty free agents.

  2. They are still in the race, although fading a bit every day. As long as they have a shot at October baseball I can't see Cashman trading anyone that may impact the team's chance at making the playoffs this year. And a little word to the wise: Never believe anything in the NY Post!

  3. They won't be traded.  Its past the trading deadline so they would have to pass through wavers and someone will pick them off wavers before they could get traded.

  4. Giambi will go, I believe his contract is up.  Abreu and Damon will go.  Now, whether they go before the season is up or after is still up in the air. I would guess some sweeping changes will be coming for the Yanks.

  5. never should they trade abreu he is their best hitter rite now arod will bounce back next year giambi should go he is too old and not productive anymore
