Why is there so much suffering in this world ?

and some suffer much more then others , why some are burned and killed or little kids die in painfull ways while others play freely all their youth , while some live in luxury and confort

When you observe life , even happiness is a form of suffering since we must make constant efforts for anything we wish , if we would cease to wish we would probably be free , but we need to survive as well.

  1. Suffering is a part of life because it teaches us to appreciate the happy times more. Jesus suffered his whole life, and he never let it change him. He still loved everyone and forgave all.

  2. sin....

and btw...if someone told you they didn't want your help, it would be impolite to help them.....sorry for the bluntness....

  3. When men fell in the beginning thus losing his Oneness with God, He started thinking outside the box of good. In the very beginning he was clueless about anything outside of good. When his eyes were opened to the possibility of bringing evil into existence (which is simply the absence of good) mankind went hog-wild with developing it and thus the consequences of enormous suffering. It is all man's fault and that is undebatable!

  4. I think when we look back at our lives after this life we will see it in a diff perspective.  This is such a short period of our lives.  All the pain, even those that went thru horrrendous trials, might really just seem like burning our hand thru the perspective of our eternal lives.

By burning our hand we learn fire is hot.  I think we are learning a lot more than we realize and when we step back from this life we will realize how much all our trials and suffering allowed us to grow and know real joy and happiness, too.

We are here to learn and grow and progress.  You cant do that in a blissful bubble.

  5. There is suffering in the world because of the Fall by Adam and Eve. When they ate of the forbidden fruit, mankind came under the curse of God. This is taught in Genesis 3.

This curse infected all of man (hence, all are sinners), because we all came from Adam and Eve. Eve is called the mother of all living in Genesis 3:20.

  6. 2 possible reasons,1st to test the believers;their faith n deeds n way of survival, or 2nd to punish the believers for their wrongdoings, disobedient n sins

  7. Luke 13:1  There were present at that season some who told Him about the Galileans whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices.

2  And Jesus answered and said to them, "Do you suppose that these Galileans were worse sinners than all other Galileans, because they suffered such things?  3  I tell you, no; but unless you repent you will all likewise perish.  4  Or those eighteen on whom the tower in Siloam fell and killed them, do you think that they were worse sinners than all other men who dwelt in Jerusalem?  5  I tell you, no; but unless you repent you will all likewise perish."

  8. life signification !

    Religion~

understand oneself with everythings on earth to save and survive as well.

  9. suffering is caused by humans ... that's the bottom line.

  10. there is probably an equal amount of suffering and joy...though not equally distributed.

  11. 2 words.

    S**t happens

  12. Because there is no god and because of religion we cannot all come together and move forward as a species.

  13. Maybe cos  the ones that are being rewarded did well in their past lives and this is there reward and ppl who live tough lives, that is there h**l...

  14. according to christians, it's because the original two humans god put on earth sinned, so god cursed them and the earth as well as all of their offspring, for the last 6,000 years..

what i don't get,, is why some people in Africa  live to be like 30, at most, and have no idea what Christianity is.

  15. Because everything is about balance. If we didn't suffer, we couldn't even begin to know how to recognize and appreciate happiness and joy.

  16. We just do.  That's the way it is.  I agree with one of the answerers above.  It's a balance game.  There is a lot of good, a lot of bad.  Unfortunately, some get all the good things and some get all the bad.  And it doesn't matter if that person is good or bad as a person..  There is often no reason for it and sometimes we don't bring it on ourselves, sometimes we do.  Mostly it is just random.

  17. Probability and chance are not always our friends...

Additionally, man's inhumanity to man, not to mention our own self-destructiveness can come into play.

  18. so that we have the opportunity to grow and overcome.

Kinda like fertilizer on plants- it stinks for a while, but it makes the plants grow better.

  19. Look When u suffer u go true grief

    1 u denied it

    second u become angry

    third u accepted

forth u become at ease or peace insede ur solu

when this happens ur soul grows just a bit an for a moment u touch the sky in other words ur soul is closer to ur inerself which is God.

But check this out u  r going to trip onthis one.

    "Feeling Out of Place"

    Dear Trudy and Barbara,

I have always felt like I am out of place. I never hung with one group. I had a friend or two from each group. I was born in Michigan, but I have never been to Michigan or seen the state other than books or on TV. My parents only stayed there till I was 2 yrs old. Then they moved back to Chicago. . I feel that I never belonged and I just am wandering around the earth with no secure feeling of belonging anywhere.

I have grown to love and believe in angels. I feel they are all around me, but I never feel I get a straight answer from them. I am never sure if they are answering me. I was told I had a bad spell put on me on my 13th birthday by someone that was jealous of me and my family. Would that have anything to do with the way I feel lost?

    Thank you,

    Mary from somewhere.

    Our Response:

    Dear Mary,

There are many reasons you may feel out of place, but the major one is that you are a "seeker" and as such, you go forward with life where you are shown to go. The job of a seeker is to seek, and you have done a lot of that. There is a lot of goodness in being what you are; the trick is to find some like minded people to do it with.

We are seekers, too. We have lots of friends, but we definitely march to our own drummers. Also, you might have been born out of your "soul group" which means that you don't have any really close soul friends this lifetime, so you feel differently from others...including family. So you end up feeling as though you are the odd-man-out.

It's okay. Ask your angels to bring like minded people into your life and develop the kind of personality that will attract others to you. It can be done. Take a Dale Carnegie Class...that is a great thing to do for "loners." You might benefit from a reading, too. You will get insights on your life.

About the "spell", I doubt it. But just in case, there are some negative vibes hanging around, ask your angels to remove them. You can smudge yourself, use holy water, or just pray sincerely for cleansing and imagine pink light pouring over your body and washing away any clinging energies that are not of the light.

And, your purpose for this year is to HAVE FUN!

    Blessings in 2004

    Dear Trudy & Barbara,

I was very interested in the message from the lady who said she feels she doesn't "fit in" anywhere. I feel exactly the same and wonder what is wrong with me. I try my best to be friendly with people and just never seem to be able to have many friends. I have only one to two CLOSE friends. I sometimes think I ask too much from people -- loyalty, honesty, friendliness and never really find this.

I have been this way all my life and I am now 49 yrs. old.. Why is it some people always seem to have many friends and I just cannot? What am I doing

    wrong?

    Love,

    Kathy D.

Since this topic is brought up often, let’s ask the angels about the spiritual reason

of feeling like you don’t “fit in”.

Dear Ones, because all of you have so many diversified experiences of many lifetimes, there are innumerable possible combinations of souls who come to earth to live at any one time. The most common reason a soul doesn’t “fit” is because it has chosen to be born into a family it has never been with in any lifetime. People who have very close families have often been incarnated with each other many times, and therefore there is a soul recognition immediately and a bond of work or talents that is recognizable. If you have been born into such a family and you are the odd-soul-out, so to speak, you will never feel like you belong.

Another reason you may feel alone is that you are out of synchronicity with your primary soul group and have chosen to be born this time to learn lessons of individualism, survival, ego strength, and to live a life with unique growth opportunities. Do not lose hope. Pray that you will find a friend as unique as you are. Do different things than your family of origin suggested. Follow your own heart and be different. There are others like you, just not where you would think they are. Trust that you are on the right path. You are.

Your angels who are always with you.

  20. We have fallen from grace.

  21. I encourage you to read the Book of Job. There is great wisdom in that book about this topic.

  22. I was once told that everything is a test.. Some are tested more than others.. This life is a blink of an eye compared to what we will live in after.. So your suffering is really nothing.. Also I was told that those that God truly has mercy on, he allowed their punishment to be here in this time, so they wont have to be punished in h**l.. Its sort of "get it overwith earlier".. Almost a mercy.. He loves you so much.

  23. The reason is us.

The cause of happiness, the cause of suffering is us. We do all of those things to ourselves, not destiny, not god,...

    only us...

  24. we suffer to glorify God.

God wants to be recognized in our lives and our rewards will be greater in heaven.

  25. According to the Bible God tells us that in this world trials and tribulations come as a test of our faith.  The race is not given to the swift or the strong but to those who endure.

  26. Oh just check out how other animals live in the animal kingdom if you want to see suffering.

Suffering is a part of life, that is just how it is
