  1. there is a foot massager called the rebuilder. The ReBuilder's healing signal travels from one foot to the other, rebuilding your nerves, strengthening your calf muscles, and increasing blood flow.

  2. try taking Magnesium Glycinate!

Magnesium helps with muscle contraction and your symptoms are possibly a deficiency in this mineral.

You can get it at any health food store and you take 2 before bed. Once the symptoms go away, you should really be increasing your intake of beans, peas, lentils as they are high in magnesium.

Keep me posted on your progress!

  3. I am 42, and I have had RLS since I was a child.  Chiropractic adjustments to the sacroiliac joint help me for about 6-8 months.

I have a chiropractor friend who says that *true* RLS is rare as it is a neurological disorder.  The RLS that most people experience today is caused from mental stress and lack of exercise.  Learn to control your mind and teach yourself to relax while increasing your exercise.  Walking, jogging, biking are all good for the buildup of energy that flows through your legs.

As for accupressure points to relieve RLS, I haven't learned of any yet, and I am a massage therapist.  Massage therapy in general helps RLS because it helps your body to deal with stress and remember how to truely relax.

  4. Why is it that no one had Restless Leg Syndrome 10 years ago and beyond? Just wondering.

There probably are pressure points that will work. Best to see an accupressure therapist for this one, as someone around here might give you the pressure point to create Restless Arm Syndrome. (Haven't heard of Restless Arm Syndrome? Wait a few years. It will be the rage.)
