Accutane, Does it work?

I'm about to go to a dermatologist, and I was wondering if I was gonna get Accutane, How does it work, and how long will it take?

you might want to try a non drug way to treat it.

Some ABFE Face Hand and Body cream or Emergency Essence cream after washing with physoderm skin cleanser at night.  

In the morning wash again with physoderm and use the Emergency Essence drops

I was on Accutane about 14-15 years ago when there wasn't much alternatives on the market.  It did work for the large cystic pimples that I had but even now I still can sometimes have smaller breakouts (no more large ones though).  Long term side affects include dry feeling eyes to the point that some can't even wear contacts (at least all the years ago)

Lots of people are having luck with Proactive

My daughter uses Home Health (brand name) Blemish Treatment Lotion that is sold at Whole Foods (health food store) and watches her diet with great success (so far)

Going on Accutane is choosing to go on a heavy duty drug.  I had used up all my options back then before resorting to it. Please, u should consider ALL other options first.
