Ace Of Spies seeks to win Apprentice Handicap
Trotting through the card of We Race Again 8th May Apprentice Handicap, Ace Of Spies looks to be the most potential runner who will surely be able to make a big impact at Catterick racecourse on Wednesday, April 25.
In the high-profile Class 6 contest over a distance of 5 furlongs and 212 yards, the Conor Dore-trained brown gelding will face 10 strong rivals including Northern Bolt, Pulsatilla, Greenhead High, Prince James, Blueberry Fizz, Spirit Of Coniston, Forty
Proof, Andrasta , Simple Rhythm and Sophie’s Beau.
Containing £1,704 in the prize purse, the race will commence at 5:50 (GMT). Each of the above runners looks to be confident enough to run to his/her best in an effort to clinch the ace title but Ace Of Spies stands above all in terms of the unique talent
and matchless capabilities he possesses.
The seven-year-old veteran runner, who has participated in as many as 86 events so far, has been enjoying great since the dawn of 2012. The maverick gelding grabbed a third and two 4th positions in a row during January.
The experienced horse moved ahead to claim a runner-up rank on February 23. He finished 3rd and 4th in two consecutive races during the first half of March.
After finishing as a runner-up on April 3, he stepped ahead to accomplish a fantastic triumph on April 10. He was 2-1 favourite for that outing. The dashing sprinter again bagged a third in his last start on April 17.
Overall, the consistent runner has 7 victories to his name along with £28,234 of prize money. At the moment, he is awash with winning momentum. His chances to finish first will be as high as 95 percent.
Greenhead High and Blueberry Fizz are also likely to perform well in the race.
