Is the Acer computer modle number 4420 a good computer for skype and for school?

I have an aspire 5920 that I like a lot, I have had no problems with it, and it is pretty fast due to its 3 GB of ram, and dual core proccessor. I dont know about the model you have, tho. If it is a newer computer, I am sure it is fine. I looked at many brands and decided I liked this Acer the best for the money I spent. $ 699.00

Search Acer computers and read the various reviews of your model, That helped me decide, too. It seems to me that they offer a few more features for less money than some other brands, and they have been making them for awhile, now.

Acer is perfect for skype and for school. It is very fast, and very sturdy. It comes with Vista. Don't do like the other people and reformat to put Win XP. That is a bigt mistake. Vista is crashprood and that is what you need nowaday with all those viruses going around. And for gamingm, it is very very good.
