Acer Extensa 5420 lockout

Question

Keyboard, Touchpad and Audio quit operating. Unable to type or scroll, except with external keyboard or mouse using the usb ports. Reloaded drivers, but systems confirms that system is okay. Reloaded driver for amd64 and says that there is 'error 37'. Any suggestions? Thanks!!

I am having this exact same problem with my Acer Extensa 4420 (likely the same build as yours except that mine has a smaller screen.Purchased on 9/13. Problem started on October 3.
