Acer aspire touchpad over sensitive

Question

when i go to move curser with touchpad as soon as pad is touched it clicks on to whatever is under curser. also it continues clicking without being touched. is it possible to change sensetivety. have touched on touchpad icon at bottom of screen but does have a way changing sensetivety
