Question:

Acer eNet can't connect to my network?

So, I just got a brand new Acer Extensa notebook, and as soon I got it, I tried getting on the internet. Acer's eNet configuration program tried connecting me to my home network (which happens to be unsecured). Of course, it keeps giving me the same error message, "Connection to WLAN failed". And, I already emailed Acer about the problem, did all their c**p, and came up with nothing, in fact, I think it made the problem worse. Anyways, I was wondering if you guys had any solution to my problems. If you need anymore details, just let me know. Oh, and yes, it works with an ethernet cable, but I can't connect to wireless T.T

  1. Hey Qi

I have an Acer and the wi-fi works on it but, the ethernet cable is by far, faster.

You are trying to connect with Wlan which means 'wireless lan'

Acer is not that hot on wireless. You have to assign an SSID to your main computer.

Then,  open the wireless compu and it should detect it automatically. But if you don't give a name to that connection, it won't work. Forget it
