Acer is this considered a good computer?

I recently purchased an Acer new in box from Craigslist so it has no warranty. I have since had connecting to the internet issues it keeps saying I am not connected to the Internet is this common? Are these good computers? your thoughts please

one of our laptops is acer and we had it for 2 years and never had a problem with that laptop.

I'm on an Acer Extensa right now.  I've never had any problem with it at all.  I've had it for almost a year and it hasn't even frozen once.  Your problem is probably with your internet connection, not so much the computer you're using.

If you're using one of their laptops, make sure you've hit the switch in the front that turns on the internet.  Sometimes it can accidentally get turned off.

I bought an acer laptop for my son for christmas last year, and in 3 days it wouldn't turn on. So we took it back to BestBuy, and got a credit to buy a new laptop. I ended up spending the extra to got a MacBook. I love it.

So my experiences with Acer's have been a nightmare.

Apple, has been all smiles and sunshine. LOL
