Acer laptop cannot power on and battery will not charge?

Need help on my acer laptop

I cannot power on my laptop due to lack of power, and I also find that my battery pack will not charge even though I connect the ac adapter to it....the power indicator does not show lit....I tried the ac adapter in another laptop and it worked great, but in mine it doesn't work at all..... anyone with solutions for this?

I would greatly appreciate it

Two things:

1. Verify that you do not have a faulty connection, move it around while it's plugged into the uncharged laptop.

2. You could have a loose connection on your board to the AC adapter, in which case you will need to replace the board.
