My body aches all over! I haven't run for about a month (vacay and then..laziness) and then there was suddenly preseason for cross country. Today was day two, and I was already sore from day 1. Everyday we run 3-4 miles at least, do moving stretches, a workout with a lot of ab and leg exercises (like legs lifts, etc ugh) and then regular stretches. We do ice baths after, but just our legs. (It is boy girl after all!, lol) I have practice everyday, so I need quick ways to rid of the soreness on my legs, abs, and arms. And make them stay away. Home remedies, medicine, whatever works! I already tried 200 mg of ibprofeun, no dice. The pain is so bad, it takes about a minute to get out of the car or from a laying down position. Thanks!

  1. sounds like you did to much to quickly, you overdid it, get some muscle rub or ice your body down.  Take a couple of days to get better then get back into it properly.

Your treating your body like you never took a vacation or got lazy.

Treat your body with respect and it wont let you down

  2. the best thing to do would be to run through it and do full body ice baths everyday for at least 15 minutes. Your aches will subside eventually, trust me. The same thing happens to me every time I start up again after time off.
