Manifest Destiny in itself is a source of national pride. The great strength of a nation that touched the greatest oceans of the world. The outcome of the Manifest Destiny is a source of pride and shame. Pride that the dream came true and America reached from the Atlantic to the Pacific. Shame for how Americans stole and destroyed the land of the Indians and believed they had the right to do so because of the Manifest Destiny.
