Sorry, I really would like to answer but I am not sure what you are asking...

If I am not mistaken, you are asking whether we should prefer ourselves or help others more...

My own belief is that it takes two hands to do a jobs of washing ... one washes the other... So if I reach out to help you, essentially, I believe you will in turn reach out to help me...

It is not always this way, but I think it is good to try.
