  1. Air. All fossil fuels we burn, like oil, coal, wood, etc. contain sulphur, which oxidizes to become SO2, which then, given there's a suitable catalyst (e.g. a high-voltage overland powerline), reacts with rainwater, producing H2SO3 - sulphoric acid.

  2. Waste gases such as sulphur dioxide and nitrogen oxides are released by industrial processes, and by burning fossil fuels. They combine with water vapour in the atmosphere to form sulphuric acids and nitric acids. These acids combine with rain water to produce acid rain.

So,acid rain is caused by the pollution of atmosphere with sulphuric acid and nitric acid.

  3. Acid rain" is a broad term referring to a mixture of wet and dry deposition (deposited material) from the atmosphere containing higher than normal amounts of nitric and sulfuric acids. The precursors, or chemical forerunners, of acid rain formation result from both natural sources, such as volcanoes and decaying vegetation, and man-made sources, primarily emissions of sulfur dioxide (SO2) and nitrogen oxides (NOx) resulting from fossil fuel combustion. In the United States, roughly 2/3 of all SO2 and 1/4 of all NOx come from electric power generation that relies on burning fossil fuels, like coal.  Acid rain occurs when these gases react in the atmosphere with water, oxygen, and other chemicals to form various acidic compounds. The result is a mild solution of sulfuric acid and nitric acid. When sulfur dioxide and nitrogen oxides are released from power plants and other sources, prevailing winds blow these compounds across state and national borders, sometimes over hundreds of miles.

  4. air and water especialy r drinking water whith could kill us

  5. Acid rain is rain or any other form of precipitation that is unusually acidic. It has harmful effects on plants, aquatic animals and buildings. Acid rain is mostly caused by human emissions of sulfur and nitrogen compounds which react in the atmosphere to produce acids. In recent years, many governments have introduced laws to reduce these emissions.

  6. It's caused by air pollutants like oxides of sulphur which get into the clouds

  7. Drinking too much coke.

  8. Water.
