  1. it sounds like you have tried a lot of things.... but have you actually kept a food diary?

It might take a year to find out what, but food is your problem.... there is probably one or two things or a combination of foods that are affecting you. It took me two years to find my food sensitivities...  But you have to lay off all the drugs.... antacids actually make GERD worse.... unfiltered organic apple cider vinegar should become your friends twice a day. add a tbls to warm water and drink that when you feel acidy. keep up with the aloe which will help repair the damaged digestive tract.

eat lots of fresh spinach... it is a very alkaline food. hot red pepper is also very healing. add it too your vinegar or to your foods.

I have not had GERD for over 7 years now and suffered from it for more than 20. all by getting rid of the drugs and finding out what affects me.

  2. I have been in a similar situation before too. I was experiencing horrible pain, until I was tested for food allergies and I came back positive for milk and wheat (and a few other minor ones). I think milk was the main culprit and my symptoms have reduced drastically since removing it from my diet. Just a thought, hope it helps.

  3. Alongside all the usual gaviscon etc - have you experimented with only eating "white foods" (fish, potato, rice, pasta etc) for a while to see if that helps?

  4. You have not told yet any symptoms.  Symptoms vary from person to person in the same disorder named  GERD.  If you had  tried homeopathy against the symptoms as GERD homeo will never work.  If you  give exact symptoms and if the doctor is adept, there is no reason why homeopathy cannot cure you.   Wishing you well.

  5. Supplementing with digestive enzymes and probiotics would be very beneficial to digestion, and could even remove your heartburn altogether. It's also a good idea to get some pH paper   to test your body's acid/alkaline balance; you should strive to keep at 6.5-7.0 at all times.

You can get both the enzymes and pH paper at a health food store.

  6. get 4oz. ginger root, juice it, put juice in fridge. 1st. thing every morning for three weeks take 1 teaspoonful.(will feel like raw alcohol)but it gets better.  you should be ok after this time.

    check all things you eat.

if it comes back,do it again.

  7. One thing that you doctor maybe forgot to tell you is you can not eat after 6 p.m. you have to give the food time to digest in your system....what happens if you eat and then lay down is that the food comes back up your throat!!!

Eat small meals instead of large meals. Chew food slowly. I was told that sodas and tomatoe base food, chocalate, dairy product and too much of it will give you problems.

Read up on the internet on more things about GERD.
