  1. put a light layer of power on first

  2. Nooo, its all about finding the right foundation and applying it the right way.

Find a good foundation that matches your skin tone perfectly.

and the trick is to not put a lot around your hairline so this does not happen.

  3. The trick is to use CONCEALER instead of foundation. Foundation will collect around any un-smooth surface. (It makes wrinkles and all blemishes stand out more).

You want a concealer (usually comes in a small tube). If your blemishes are really red, a concealer that looks more yellow will counteract the redness the best. Here's what you do: put a small dot on your finger and tap it lightly on top of the pimple. Keep tapping lightly until blended. Do Not Rub (you'll just erase the concealer from the top of it). If your face is shiny from acne medicine or scrubbing use some light powder all over your face with a big brush.

Stay away from the foundation. Not only is it bad for your skin, it looks bad too. It's terribly old fashioned.

BTW- find some Tea Tree Oil. Small bottle found in health food stores or trader joes or the like. A small dab on top of a clean pimple that is just forming will avert a zit. Don't swab it all over your face though- too strong!

    Good luck!

  4. i think if you want to use foundation, use it.

all you have to do its find the right shade and put it on right.

you ahould go to the store and buy a few colors, then try them, make she you use enough, but not to mush and rub it in. she might have gotten a pimple from it because she was algeritic to it or somthing. if you think you will too, get it from Alamay,  its hypoalergenic or whatever.  and even it it doesn't work for you just try it oout.

    good luck (:

  5. *I don't really understand the question, but if you're looking for a good foundation for acne then you want to go with bare escentuals.  It's great.*

  6. i think if you have alot of bad acne it it would show up underneath ur makeup.....my brothers girlfriend tryed covering up her acne (which was kinda bad) with fondation at it looked terriable....she looked better when she didnt have any on.....:)..

  7. Conceler and foundation.

foundation is amazing and so is the right conceler

  8. I go to a quality store with wide array of beauty supplies and try out various blends

  9. it depends on teh quatliy of the foundation and the weather.

use a oil free foundation so you wont get more pimples and wash your face as soon as you get home, never sleep with make up on.

  10. Buy some neutragena acne wash and use that everytime you take a shower then use foundation.

  11. The best thing to do before applying foundation is to make sure your skin is clean and moisturized. If you're like me, and have oily skin, you can still use a moisturizer because it can actually help reduce the oiliness.

The next step is to get a quality foundation with light - medium coverage. I recommend to always use a cosmetic "sponge round" when putting on foundation, unless you thoroughly wash your hands before time - since bacteria on your fingers and under your nails will get onto your face and cause more blackheads, whitehead and pimples.

After you've put on the foundation, find a concealer that is a lighter tone then your skin color, or one that has yellow or green undertones in it. Gently "blot" the concealer until it's smooth and covered.

I don't know what your budget is on skin care and make up, but I personally use Mary Kay for everything - no, I'm not an old lady either! I'm 23!

Good luck - hope it helps some!

  12. Mineral foundations would probably work best, I use Sheer Cover with pretty good results.  If the acne is really bad, I would go to the doctor and get some pills for it- they can do some serious help and prevent scarring.  I had to do that when I was a teenager- I took something called Seldane, but I am sure they have much more products available now.

  13. try!

get a good foundation that blends into your skin color.

it happens like that if you get a color that doesnt suit the skin color.

get a b.b cream... it helps acne go away and scars.

its 4-in-one sunscreen foundation whitener and more!

    researchit!

  14. The best foundations to use are powder or liquid foundations if you have acne.  Always make sure that it says non comedogenic on the label.  The worst brand for your skin is cover girl, my dermatologist did not recommend that one at all.  There are Sephoras in JC Penny stores all over the country now, and they have people who work there that are trained in helping people pick out the right stuff for their skin.  If you have really bad acne, go to a dermatologist and they can help you get rid of it.
