  1. I don't think it will make a difference.

  2. I don't think it could hurt - it's good for you and has antioxidants.  I tried to start drinking it but I am caffiene sensitive and I haven't been able to fall asleep for weeks - finally realized it's the tea.

  3. It's a very valid question. I was in China and was drinking tea a lot. I have very acne prone skin and while I wasn't keeping a lot at the time I noticed when I drank Puer tea (different from green tea) I experienced small red bumps all over my face (this was after spending a long time in tea houses and consuming a lot of tea).

I can't exactly remember what happened with green tea, but it certainly was less dramatic. What I have noticed is that when I consume caffeine, particularly in large amounts, my skin acts up. Puer tea has a fair amount of caffeine in it, so that makes sense. I think green tea has a fair amount also. I don't think in this case it has so much to do with citrus, although I agree with you, I find when I eat oranges I have problems, the caffeine is a factor to be wary of.

I would drink a little say a cup or so and see what happens if you can/willing to take a small risk. Green tea is supposedly great for your skin because it is high in antioxidants and I have read in numerous places online that green tea has worked wonders for them. Try typing in "green tea and acne" on google and looking up reviews on acne.org.

Also one thing I am actually going to try as a I have a fair amount of high quality tea is use the tea leaves on my face and maybe using some of the left over tea (slightly cooled) to wash my face, since I have read that is great for your skin.

All in all you have to try it for yourself, but I have read and feel somewhat confident myself that it is worth and okay to drink. I just wouldn't overdo it.

  4. i don't think it makes a difference either i drink that all the time (cuz i love it not for my skin) i don't think it effects anything but check out my source it might help!

  5. that's weird cuz i'm trying out how that will work for me....i don't know, but maybe you can try a green tea that doesn't have sugar in it..or better yet buy green tea bags so you can make it fresh.....

    :]
