  1. I've used toothpaste

its fine and nothing happens to your skin

i would only put it on in the night though and no longer than that

also i wouldn't use WHITENING toothpaste just in case since it does have slight more peroxide than regular toothpaste.

so any other one is fine...

i don't know about this salt water business lol\hope it works out for u

  2. None of that will help, and scars don't go away...

  3. wash your face everytime it feels dirty. don't touch it!!!  wash your hands 4 or 5 times a day! wash your pillow!

  4. toothpaste???

  5. No, it actually works over night, gets rid of the red. Also, disinfect it with a bit of rubbing alcohol before you put the toothpaste on

  6. i need to knoe that to. i heard fergie uses toothpaste but idk if it works. i never heard of salt water tho

  7. i never heard of tooth past....

  8. Assuming this is as important as you made it sound, forget the toothpaste (mint is hard on the skin).  Here's my input:

    1)  Don't overreact.  There is only so much you can expect in 4 days and if you try too hard, it will make it worse.

    2)  Drink tons of water over the next few days.  Eat fruit and veggies.  Sleep as much as possible and wear little to no makeup.  Keep your hands away from your face.

    3)  Wash twice daily with something gentle (like Cetaphil) NOT an acne medicine.

    4)  Follow the washing with a modest amount of something with BHA (salicylic acid - try the acne section of the drug store).  This is a chemical exfoliant that gets into the pores.  It also will calm down redness.  Use a 1% if this is new to you and maybe only once a day.

    5)  Then add the Differin.

    6)  Tomorrow, Thursday, and Saturday apply a 'mask' of Milk of Magnesia (not mint flavoured).  Let it dry 15 minutes.  This disinfects and encourages oil to rise to the surface.

    7)  After the mask, apply a mild physical exfoliant (eg. baking soda in your mild soap).

    8)  You can try a benzoyl peroxide product, but do not overdo it.  If you attempt to dry out the skin too much then it reacts by overcompensating in its oil production.

    9)  Do not handle the pimple until the whitehead puss  or blackhead rises to the surface and then only use a tool (see LaCross source), not your fingers.  Don't do this on Sunday.

I find that if you treat your skin as if it were delicate, it will behave better.  I wish it didn't take me 20 years to figure this out!  This isn't exactly my own routine, but the products I recommended are cheap and easy to find.  Good luck!

  9. use the wave it worked really fast for me :)

  10. Wet a washcloth and put it in the microwave and heat it for 25 to 30 seconds.  Hold it against the acne.  It will be hot but it will bring the pus to the surface, and sometimes it will help the swelling. And the best advice is don't pick at them or irritate if they're not ready to be popped, because the more you touch them the more they will swell and darken.

  11. im not sure about the tooth paste. but ive heard it works. differin only works for a short time after a few months it stops. i used to use it. i used to have bad acne but its gone. use sea breeze to clean ur face nd make sure you wash ur hair every day.

  12. acne does not go away that quickly...

    be patient.

    proactive-try it.
