Acne antibiotics cause yellow teeth?

I used to have severe acne and now it is almost all gone and I am taking well I'm reading this from the bottle "ratio-minocycline 100mg minocycline hcl" and i have been noticing that my teeth are becoming yellow and I've always had white teeth, I brush about 3 times a day so it's not that I'm neglecting them. I'm wondering if that is a common side effect of taking acne biotics designated to clear up acne? I'm also wondering if my teeth will return back to normal once I no longer need to take antibiotics. Thank You.

  1. In the treatment of acne tetracyclines like Doxycycline are used., sometimes for 3 months.

The tetracyclines can stain the teeth yellow.

    Minocyclie is Doxycycline.

The yellowness caused by minocycline may disappear on its own, but however much brushing is done it will not help.

This is because the colur is incorporated to the superficial tissue of the teeth.
