I am 23 weeks pregnant and for the past week have had really bad acne. They are not just spots but the horrible p***y ones. I have had a couple on my face and neck but now they are on my chest. They dont itch or anything. Is this normal? What can I use to help get rid of them?

  1. that's natural.  when you're pregnant, i think your face becomes more oily than normal which causes the acne.  well i used to have lots of pimples and i would not touch my face much unless i was washing it.  i used to use neutrogena but the other way was a little better.  but i guess for your case, you should go to a doctor.  if u use a cream or something make sure you apply it really gently since rubbing it makes it worse

  2. Stress and your hormones and you dont need to put anything you dont want to hurt the baby

  3. i got acne super bad and i found that they only thing that worked and is safe to use was something called tea tree oil. if you go to your local herb store they should sell something call

        Dessert Essence Blemish Touch Stick

you have to use it about 5 times a day and it has a strong smell for the first 30 seconds but the tea tree oil works to kill all the fungus and helps reduce redness. it should clear up your skin with two weeks. Good Luck

  4. very normal.  its your hormones.  i got the same thing.  there are two ingredients in facewash that you cannot use, but i cannot remember the names of them.  look it up on google, and then get a good facewash!

  5. it means your baby is a tomato

  6. Yup it's normal! You can thank your pregnancy hormones! I never had a pimple my WHOLE life until I got preggo. I have really back black heads now. I use Clean and Clear and if I use it every night it seems to really help. I havent had body acne, but I know they make body acne wash. Just look it up on line and you can find one that looks the best for you. After you have the baby, the acne will go away a few months after. Congrats on your baby!

  7. I think you should go see your doctor, he should be able to put your mind at rest and offer you helpful tips for the acne problem.

  8. Totally normal. It's all the hormones. I had bad acne when I was pregnant too. Drinking TONS of water really helped hyrdrate my skin and helped the breakouts too. Also, proactive. Ask your doctor first but the stuff works wonders.

  9. I found a lot of useful tips for getting rid of pimples here, http://ridofpimplesovernight.com/3-home-...

  11. i am in the same boat...and it's weird because i find that i'm getting them in odd places on my face..like i have a reoccurring one on the tip of my nose (lol)...how horrible is that!!!!

i'm also getting some underneath my chin. just bad. i've tried three different scrubs and find that st. ives apricot works best for me...it's made me look semi-glowing...and most of the acne has faded.

    Good Luck and Congrats!

  12. It sure is normal. In the very beginning of my pregnancy I broke out alot but then it started to clear up and people were actually commenting me on the great skin....well here....it decides to show back up about a week ago. Ive gotten them on my chin, one on my forehead and around my nose. It's a *****.

  13. I had the same problem and I used PRO ACTIVE DEEP CLEASNING WASH AND PRO ACTIVE CLEAR ZONE BODY LOTION FOR MY FACE AS WELL ITS SO MUCH PERFECT, I WON'T USE NOTHING ELSE. GIVE IT A TRY.

  14. Sounds like hormones but you should call your doctor and ask.  You shouldn't have to do an office visit.
