Acne medication how long ?

wife has acne just 1 month ago she never had and o boy it break out bad ..they look like pimples no blackheads or white just pure lumps like pimple looking ,so she gets 5 different medications from dermatology .doctor . so i ha vent seen much improvement is been like 2 weeks with medicines so whats going on on her skin? why so hard to make the pimples disappear how long does it take and why so hard to get rid of ?

oh my, frustrating it is!!!! i am 14, and am going into highschool in two days. i struggle with light acne, nothing severe but just yesterday a HORRIFIC breakout on my forehead sent me running for the hills.

the thing with acne with women can be very complicated. our constant changing hormones around our menstrual period can VERY often cause breakouts. your wife and i are kind of in the same boat, we don't know why it got this bad. one thing that she needs to do and try so hard at (eventhough i know how hard it is) is to NOT stress about it.  i know you always hear "stress is such a main factor in acne", well believe it! hormones is what is causing the acne in the first place, so throwing them all off balance with constant stress and upsetting moments will only make in ten times worse. yes, mine are pure lumps also. fun for a freshman girl making her first impression huh?

so your first question...hormones. hormones are most likely the main reason why she broke out. they are different with each menstrual period, some more severe in others.

for your third question: not too long with clean and clear!!! it won't be long, maybe a week or less until your wife starts seeing DRAMATIC results. the pimple count, redness, and elevation of the pimples will be dramatically decreased if you use this product. the only suggestion i'd make would to get the Proactiv Oil-Free Moisturizer. This really works well for moisturizing skin, and it will most DEFINITELY not make your wife break out.
