  1. neutrogena skin clearing oil-free makeup (the foundation)...just used to today for the first time (Because regular foundation makes me break out) and i like it so far..but just a few tips, NEVER sleep in your makeup and always wash your face at night. Perhaps make an appointment with a dermatologist for more options?

As for your pores, try those pore strips on your nose..and maybe try a mask one a week.

Oh and to keep your foundation on use a good primer, and set it with powder (translucent or regular if you want more coverage) Also get those oil absorbing sheets to blot your face through out the day, it gets the oil and doesnt ruin your makeup.

  2. Garlic applied to the affected area.

    A paste made of cucumbers.

    Mint oil or mint juice.

Honey has a natural antimicrobial action and has been used among the natural cures for acne for a long time.

Some of the more modern of the natural ways to get rid of acne are toothpaste or oatmeal bath treatment, mixed into a paste and applied to the affected areas.

  3. i use glo minerals and it works great! and it doesnt clog my pores at all

  4. Instead of covering the acne, I would advise you to clear it off. You can try using Zenmed's derma cleanse acne gel, that will help you to instantly clear up acne thats on your cheeks. The gel also helps to unclog pores which is necessary to get rid of acne and blackheads and also helps to reduce the redness and swelling that acne is often associated with.

I have used the acne gel, its purely herbal and suits any type of skin without causing pores to get clogged or the skin reacting to it. Believe me, where effectiveness is concerned, it's way ahead of proactiv and clean and clear.

  5. id go with mineral powder...great coverage and doesnt clog pores plus it feels like u arent wearing anything!!

  6. ummmm  you can use mineral makeup, which does not clog pores....

  7. cleanser toner and moisteriser. use these all daily.   if pimples keep showing leaving milk toothpaste on to dry them out can really help. also i have discorvered some baby nappy rash creams work a treat for pimples exthma cuts and many more things.

  8. make sure that you buy make-up that is oil-free and non-comedogenic.

  9. foundation should not clog your pores, have you tried clinique?  Sweating in the summer months will clog your pores regardless of whether you are wearing makeup or not.

  10. try some good facial cleansers such as Neutrogena face wash. It's oil free and won't clog up your pores.

also try changing your diet. try not to eat oily foods because it tends to leave oil on your face which isn't good =/

wash your face in the morning, and at night before you go to sleep.

also, if you use products in your hair, try not to sleep with them in your hair. The products can get onto your pillow and then onto your face which in occasions causes achne on fore head and cheeks.

If you want to use concealer or foundation, try and buy the oil free kind that actually is healthy for your skin and repairs it.

Neutrogena and Almay are good foundations in this case. Make sure to apply it in a down ward motion and with a make up sponge. This prevents too much foundations or concealer from being applied to your face and the downward motion prevents clogging pores .

also! another good tip for achne is to wet a towl then heat it up until it steams. set the towel on your desired spot for a while and this shrinks your pores and actually prevents pimples from occuring!

hope this helps some, best of luck :))
