Acne sucks. helppppp :)?

Question

okay so i have acne but not a lot.. like 4 pimples. but i don't want to go to a dermatologist.

which stuff actually worksss????

Wash your face everynight. Use an acne cream with benzoyl peroxide once or twice a day.  Also use makeup that is  Non comogenic, meaning that it doesn't clog pores.  Drink a lot of water.

Proactiv didn't work for me, so the only way to know if it will help is to try it...If you'd rather not get that, Benzoyl pieroxide works well. Try to get one with a higher strength. You can get the Clean & Clear benzoyl peroxide cream at any drugstore and it's one of the creams with a higher strength, it's worked well for me as a spot treatment.

OKay first everybody who says Proactiv works! There retarded, and well my mom bought me a product and it works really well its called Seaora and it is made from minerals of the dead sea and there is a whole kit or you can buy the products separately my mom bought me the whole kit for 69.99 but its worth it and it comes with 2 bars of acne soap and a mud mask, and toner, also exfoliating sea salt. It still is an awesome product and i suffer from acne also!

use a benzoyl peroxide cream from the drugstore and put it directly on the pimples to help them heal. And make sure to cleanse and moisturize your skin and use a clay mask twice a week to clean out your pores

the free way[: is to drink lots of water, ad take the yolk from and egg [boiled] and mash it up all over your face[: it works great! :D

I have the same problem.

I'm for the first time trying 'Neutrogena Advanced Solutions Complete Acne Therapy System' It's suppose to work faster then Proactiv and so far it's working really well for me and my skin.

I hated proactiv and salisylic acid always irritated by skin so bad it made it worse. Benzoyl peroxide was the only cream that ever worked for me, I had a 10% cream Rx but I  think you can actually buy that over the counter now. I'm actually using olay regenerist daily thermal mini peel right now but I'm 23 with sun damage, if you have nice fresh young skin you might not want to use it.

yes proactive does really work well.

but i also wash my face with an oatmeal type of bar soap about once a day. it really helps control my oiliness which does help control my acne.

The trick is drinking more water. No joke. Just drink a lot of water and you'll see a difference with in a week.

Try clinique from the mall.  They can put you on a program especially for your skin type.  It really works!!

usually they will give you a cream called retona or however its spelled and it makes you break out even worse before it clears your skin and since i didnt want that to happen they gave me differin which cleared my skin alot more.
