Acosta, Evangelista, Hernandez, Barrera, Sakai win their bouts – Boxing news
Marcos Acosta, Daniel Evangelista, Rodolfo Hernandez, Alejandro Barrera and Shoky Sakai won their bouts on June 3, 2011 fighting against the best opponents from around the world.
The 30-year-old Super Featherweight of Mexico, Alejandro Barrera smashed Alfredo Hernandez in their ten-round competitive bout. Barrera scored the knockout decision against Hernandez. The time was 2:17 of the 9th round when the referee ruled the
bout in favour of Barrera. Barrera looked much focused and determined as he displayed excellent boxing skills and effectiveness with his fight plan.
The 20-year-old Japanese Lightweight boxer, Shoky Sakai scored another knockout decision fighting against Vicente Hernandez in their six-round bout at Lightweight division on Friday. It was 2:02 of the 5th round when the referee intervened to
stop them. Sakai displayed the skills and tactics that he has mastered under the guidelines of his Hall of Fame Trainer, Mexican Ignacio Beristain. Sakai tried to dominate the fight form the very beginning as a result his opponent Vicente Hernandez came under
pressure and lost the bout.
The 25-year-old Super Bantamweight, Rodolfo Hernandez and Olivares Josimar were face to face in their 10-round bout at the junior featherweight division. Josimar went down to the floor for a couple of times during the competition. The time was 2:21 of the
first round when the fight went off. The Referee announced the decision in favour of Hernandez. Josimar could not withstand the fabulous punches from Rodolfo Hernandez.
Ricardo Carmona lost the technical knockout decision against the 20-year-old Mexican national Super featherweight, Daniel Evangelista. Last Friday, Both the fighters met the strengths of each other at the Deportivo Tlalli in Tlalnepantla, Mexico. The fight
could not reach the second round but went off at 2:33 when the referee entered to stop them.
The American native Super Bantamweight, Marcos Acosta, who is not so experienced in the early stages of his career, scored the first ever technical knockout win against Ruben Hernandez in the 3rd round of their matchup on Friday.
Acosta has now won his 3 competitive bouts of 4 in total to his professional career. The only loss came his way in 2008 when he faced Ricky Vasquez at the Isleta Casino & Resort in New Mexico, United States.
