  1. Acoustic!

  2. Acoustic

  3. Depends on what style of music you want to play. They don't really sound the same, so if you want to play electric songs on an acoustic, it will sound wrong.

  4. Electric...u can get your hand around it better because it's thinner.

  5. ACOUSTIC

  6. what kind of music do you play? you need to also buy an amp if your going electric and if you like effects pedals as well. or you could buy an acoustic/electric that lets you plug in when you need to and still have the benfit of acoustic.

  7. Acoustic.

    it sounds amazing.

  8. You might want to start with a 3/4 size acoustic guitar because they are more comfortable to hold than a full size. Two kinds are Taylor Baby and Little Martin, both around $300 new, but  I'm sure there are some others less expensive.  Little guitars aren't just for kids, I know lots of players that have them for traveling.

  9. Acoustic - they go everywhere with less equipment .

  10. you can learn yhe basics on an acoustic and theyre easy to travel with get an acoustic/electric

eventually when you start getting all your chords and scales down u can be a rock star w/ ur electric...its all about an expensive amp when u go electric

LEARN YOUR CHORDS and youll be fine

  11. Really comes down to what type of music you want to play.

Acoustic is cheaper for starters w/ no additional equipment to buy.  Other than the strings or the guitar itself, there's nothing to break or have issues w/.  Acoustic focuses more on the strumming and chord for the songs since the instrument makes all the sound on it's own.

Electric is more based on notes or chords and you can play w/ various techniques because the instrument isn't having to amplify the sound.  you can just touch a string on the neck and (w/ the amplifier set properly) get a sound.  These guitars are generally more expensive and you'll have to either buy the whole kit or piece together a guitar, cords, and amplifier.

    Good Luck!!!

  12. acoustic. it sounds better to me.

  13. If you want to learn to play rock guitar, then buy electric. If you want to strum along or enjoy acoustic guitar, the buy acoustic. Acoustic is less expensive. Buy electric if you like playing leads, then you can plug in headphones and rock away all night. Electric is a bit easier to learn.

  14. Totally two different sounds. Depends on the music you like. If you are more mellow, acoustic. If you like more edge, electric.

  15. It's good to start on Acoustic, IMO.

  16. acoustic. Any affordable brand for starters.
