Acoustic solution lcd tv

Question

ive had this tv in my front room for 4 months with no problems, i have moved it from the front room and put it on my wall in my bedroom and for some reason the sound is fine and you can see the picture but its mainly green with no other colour in it, the only thing ive used different is the power lead which is off a plasma not an lcd, would this make a difference
