Acoustic solutions lcd tv?

i brought a 40"acoustic solutions lcd tv 1080p 2 weeks ago

the tv works great!

yet when i put the menu screen up last week it would not go off and kept coming back up.once i turned the set off and back on it worked great again.

now everytime i put teletext on after about 3 miniutes or so the screen goes black and makes a fizzy static noise and the tv turns itself to channel 3 without teletext on after about 10 seconds.apart from that the tv is great.

what would you do? would you carry on using it or would you call argos up for it to be replaced?

It sure sounds like there are some

manufacturer defects with your tv.

I would bring it back to where it was

purchased & replace it with a brand name

set like LG,Samsung,Panasonic,Philips,

Sharp.

It sounds like your set needs service.  Being only 2 weeks old I would replace it.  If possible return it for a full refund.  Hopefully you saved your sales receipt.  Also you will need all the accessories that came with the set (remote control, cables if any)  and the owner's manual.  The reviews for this brand have not been the best.  Similar problems have occurred for other customers.  If they will not give a full refund then get them to replace it if possible.  Having been in the business for over 20 years I would recommend;  Sony, Panasonic, Pioneer or Sharp.
